If you’ve never seen a red squirrel before, North Gateway Cafe might just be the place. Our window seating offers a front-row view of these adorable woodland creatures as they dart around and forage in the trees. We’ve even nicknamed our most regular visitor Rupert.
Every morning, our team put out a few peanuts to encourage Rupert and his pals to drop by. While we can’t guarantee you’ll spot them on every visit, your chances are best if you come midweek when the woods and surrounding area are quieter.

Featuring the Daviot Cafe and our staff, it’s a charming tale that brings Rupert’s adventures to life and makes the perfect keepsake from your visit.
